I started this blog to keep the faithful prayer warriors updated on my dad's progress. When you have a family member in the hospital, it is terrific the peace that God gives you and the tremendous blessing that your brothers and sisters in Christ are to you. Daddy is at home right now and on limited activity. His Dr. said, "You can go home. Don't climb Mt. Everest." He knows my dad pretty well. Daddy always says "I'd rather wear out than rust out!" Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

St. Patrick's Day, March 08

Hanging shelves in my garage, day before Thanksgiving 08

This picture is a blurry mess and you might wonder why I included it... We were at my dad's house for dinner on the night that his chest pains got so severe that we called 911. He was taken away in an ambulance with my girls watching. As soon as he felt able to, he called Abby and talked to her and let her know he was okay. Right before they hung up, I realized I had my iPhone in my pocket so I whipped it out and took this picture as fast as I could.

Thanksgiving 08

Yes I did ... receive your Christmas card, that is :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to do a blog on your Dad and keep everyone posted. I have missed your Dad at church the last couple of Sundays. He always sits in about the same spot. Sure glad to hear he is at home and we continue to pray for him.
Looking at the photo of you I realize how much the girls, especially Megan, look like you!
